Heather Rawlins Photography - Website rewrite & redesign
About
Heather is a professional brand and family photographer based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire
Brief
To update, rewrite & redesign Heather's website to reflect her expansion into brand photography and to reposition her as both a family and brand photographer.
Solution
Heather and I discussed the feel she wanted for her website, her ideal client and how she wants her target clients to feel about her services.
She had an existing Wix site which I re-designed with her branding colours to make the most of her website and also to give a more luxurious and professional feel.
I rewrote the website to reflect the benefits of her business to her target audience, to share her story and promote the experience potential clients could expect to receive. The website was also designed and written using SEO principles to boost traffic to her website.
Since the completion of the project, Heather's website impressions and click-throughs have soared and she is also getting more higher-quality leads.
RH Utilities Website Refresh
About
RH Utilities is an energy procurement company who also provide energy efficiency recommendations
Brief
To create copy for RH Utilities' new website to include new home, services, and about pages and to refresh the current FAQ and contact pages. In particular they wanted their website to more heavily incorporate their energy efficiency services.
Solution
We spoke about the business' target audience including how they would come to the page, what their pain points were, what information they would want and what actions we wanted to take once they arrived on the page.
I collaborated with the web developer to create a website in line with the company branding. My copy primarily focused on the company's USP (unique selling point) and the benefits that they can provide to their clients.
As most of the business' clients come via the director's networking efforts, I wanted the copy to complement this. Prospective clients will visit the website after swapping business cards to find out more so I wanted to provide enough information to answer any questions and meet their pain points. I also wanted the copy to invoke trust so that the clients felt like they were in good hands working with RH Utilities and that they'd made the right choice in working with them.
Friends of St Richard's Open Space (FoSROS) Flyers & Website Design and Content
About
Friends of St Richard's Open Space is a community organisation formed to raise money for a new children's playground in Evesham
Brief
To create flyers to hand out at events and also create a website with an option to donate directly to the organisation.
Solution
I worked with members of the organisation and reviewed the site plans to come up with a suitable website design and then wrote SEO content for the website which would appeal to the main audience - local families and professionals. I found stock images of similar play equipment which is intended for the site and added a qr code to the flyer which takes donors straight to a donation page.

Evesham Noticeboard
About
Evesham Noticeboard is a local directory website and Facebook group that signposts members of the community to relevant services. As well as offering an advertising platform to local businesses the business also supports the community and local charity endeavours by providing them with a space to promote their events and causes.
Brief
To create a comprehensive guide for new residents and people who are considering making a move. The guide is an opportunity to promote the town, provide information on the history and answer any frequently asked questions for those moving to the area.
Solution
The webpage was created in collaboration with Evesham Noticeboard's founder who has a background in graphic design. Research was conducted to find out what the most commonly asked questions were for people moving to the area and this formed the basis of the article. We also wanted to signpost people to other local services so made sure to link to appropriate pages where they could obtain further information (such as how to register for schools).
Within weeks of launching the page was ranking on Google and consistently is one of the top results on search engine pages gaining much traction.
Grubbs Up (Now Ento Up)
About
Ento-up (formerly Grubbs Up) are a mealworm farm that produces mealworm-based products including ento-compost and dried mealworm treats for pets and humans.
Brief
The team at Ento-up needed a website copy refresh as their website was struggling to attract traffic and orders despite growing brand awareness in the area. The website needed new brand messaging, new product listings and the rewrite of their about page.
Solution
Research was key with this business. I wanted to get to the heart of the brand to discover the business story so that this could be shared in such a way that it would resonate with their clients. Extensive research was also conducted into the target audience to understand their pain points and why they should choose this product. Key was understanding the benefits and how they could improve the lives of potential customers (and their family and pets) so the website was built around this.
Since publishing the new website, the business has gone from strength to strength and was able to secure grant funding due to its focus on sustainability.
Black Pear Electrical EV Charging
About
Black Pear Electrical offers electrical installations including the installation of EV chargers for home and business.
Brief
To promote their business EV charger lease services, they commissioned Vale Digital to create a dedicated service page for potential customers to find out more and book them.
Solution
To create the webpage I focused on who the ideal audience was and the benefits that ev vehicles and ev chargers can have on businesses who are committed to reaching government net zero targets. Also important in promoting the service was why potential customers should choose Black Pear over their competition and this was also included in the webpage.
As a result, of the new webpage the business has seen a surge in interest in EV charger leasing plus they have somewhere to refer interested customers to who may not be ready to buy.
